How to Stretch your comfort zone

We all have been told at some point in our lives to STEP OUTSIDE of our COMFORT ZONE if we want to achieve greatness.
But that can put us in an UNCOMFORTABLE position, a position we will be resistant to and find difficulty staying in.
We find excuses not to do things as they are so far out of our comfort zone we feel SCARED, STRESSED, OVERWHELMED
Imagine if you are nervous or scared about public speaking (Glossophobia), something that is believed to affect up to 75% of the population.
What would it feel like if you were shoved on stage in front of people to do a thirty-minute speech, with the advice of stepping outside your comfort zone?
Probably not very comfortable.
How good will your speech be?
Will it be obvious that you are nervous, scared etc?
Now change the scenario and what if you were asked to just step out, at the side, and announce the next speaker.
All you have to do is say a few words and it is done.
That sounds less frightening doesn't it?
You can do that can't you?
